This seed kit contains 6 medicinal plants which are frequently used in midwifery and gynecology and to cure women's diseases:
  • Monk's pepper, chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus)
    An ancient medicinal plant of the Middle Ages that is supposed to regulate hormones. The spicy tasting fruits are used.
  • Milfoil yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
    An important medicinal plant known since ancient times, which has an expectorant, digestive, wound healing, antispasmodic and antibacterial effect.
  • Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)
    Possibly one of the most important European incense plants, but also a traditional spice for brewing beer and meat dishes.
  • Vervain (Verbena officinalis)
    Very old medicinal plant whose dried leaves are often served as tea. Not to be confused with lemon verbena (Aloysia citrodora).
  • Lady's mantle (Alchemilla xanthochlora)
    An old European medicinal plant which is mainly used in gynaecology. The dew drops that accumulate on the leaves are wonderful to look at in the morning.
  • Shepherd's purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris)
    Very unpretentious delicate plant with many talents. All parts of the plant are used as a spice, salad or natural pesticide as well as a medicinal plant with hemostatic properties.
