Description

Oregano is a good choice for Italian tomato dishes, lamb and pizza. In Mexican cuisine, oregano is often used along with cumin, coriander, chilli and garlic.

Growing instructions

Oregano grows well in sunny and warm locations. Pre-culture takes place from mid-March indoors. Outdoor planting is only possible after mid-May. During sowing, the seeds need to be lightly pressed, but not covered with soil, Oregano needs light to germinate. The seedlings can be planted outdoors from mid-May. Oregano is also well suited for growing in pots.
