Description

Fordhook Giant is a chard variety that was introduced in the 1920s and is characterized particularly by its vigorous growth and its robustness. The broadleaved Swiss chard with thick white leaf stalks is not prone to bolting and matures in about 50
days, but can also be harvested after only half the time and used as a tender leafy vegetable.

Cultivation and sowing:
Outdoor sowing from May on. Put the seeds 2-3 cm deep into the soil and keep a distance of about 30 cm. Loves loose humous soils.
