Originally, the threadleaf giant hyssop comes from the mountain areas of Arizona and New Mexico. From July, it bears orange blossoms that spread a pleasant scent and attract butterflies.

Agastache rupestris is an upright growing plant and reaches up to 60cm in height. The soil for this shrub should be as permeable and sandy as possible. It loves a sunny location. Furthermore, it prospers excellently in pots, which makes it an enrichment for balcony or terrace.
