Great Hairy Willowherb (Epilobium hirsutum) organic - bulk quantity (5 g)

It's an important food crop of many butterflies, amongst others of the elephant hawk moth. The blossoms of the great hairy willowherb are deep pink to crimson and can be admired from June to September. The propagation takes place through offshoots as well as through seeds.

The roots of the plant can be dried and processed into flour. The leaves are a wonderful addition to salad. Brewed as a tea, the leaves are said to be helpful against prostate afflictions.
