Heirloom Flower & ornamental plant seeds

Originally, plants were probably used mostly as food or for the preparation of therapeutic products, potions and cures - flower seeds were often eaten rather than sown. But the cultivation of flowers and ornamental plants has a long tradition as well.

Our range of flower seeds thus mainly features varieties for the kitchen garden, which not only look beautiful, but at least have another useful property. Among them are flowers that can be used for intercropping as supportive partners for herbs and vegetables, flowering plants which are suitable as a seasoning and / or herbal tea plant, edible flowers or plants which produce a lot of nectar and thus act as a food source for many useful insects.

Many of these types of flowers were historically also part of the traditional cottage garden, partly because of their aesthetic, but also partly because of their culinary or medicinal properties. Here you can buy a selection of heirloom flower seeds, as well as discover other plants that have historically been used as decoration or ornamental plants.
