The leaf rosettes and white tuberous routes of this edible bellflower can be used as a salad or vegetable. Rampion was widely cultivated in the 17th century in central Europe.

Seed packet with 500 rampion seeds Perennial herbaceous perennial. Sowing: Preculture from March. Direct sowing is possible, but cover seed only lightly with soil! Loves half-shaded sites. In autumn, the leaf rosettes can be harvested and used like corn salad. The roots are also harvested from autumn and during winter.
