Sowing & cultivation
Chili plants can be cultivated as annuals outdoors or as a perennial pot plant. We recommend hibernating the plants and cultivating them perennially as, especially in the second year, a plentiful chili harvest can be expected. Press the seeds into the seeding compost and keep them warm (approx. 24°C). Chili seeds need warmth for seeding – therefore, a heated plant propagator can be helpful. Grows well indoors. Loves sunny locations and nutritious soil.
Chilis are very nutrient-loving and benefit from strong nitrogen fertilization.
