Old Dutch cucumber variety - yellow fruits about 25 cm long, with a distinctive cucumber fragrance and pleasantly sweet flavour. White-, yellow- and orange-coloured cucumber varieties were common in the past. Sadly today most people are only
familiar with green cucumbers. We're hoping to change all that with this variety, which is well suited to growing outdoors.

Cucumbers can be direct sown outdoors but we recommend starting them indoors from April. The seedlings are then hardened off and transplanted outdoors after the last frosts. Later they can be grown up climbing supports or left to trail on the ground. Plenty of watering will reap rewards in terms of fruit quality.
