The heads of this true-to-seed pointed cabbage variety have beautiful shades of purple. It forms conical, pointed and very firm heads. The taste is sweeter than its withe relative, the Filderkraut cabbage, and it is very suitable for making blue
kraut.

Spitzkohl as it is called in Germany, is a very popular type of cabbage, since it is very fast growing and yields plentiful and early. It is very unpretentious and thrives on almost every soil.
