The tomato variety 'De Berao' is considered one of the most robust outdoor tomatoes. It's very resistant to late blight and a very vigorous stake tomato that can, indeed, reach a height of 3-4 metres in suitable locations. Therefore, it's also often
incorrectly called tree tomato.

The 'De Berao' produces red, egg-shaped tomatoes that are perfectly suitable for cooking. Especially for tomato sauces, soups, sugòs, and for preserving in general. The fruits taste very good fresh from the grill as well as desiccated, of course.
