Bronze Fennel belongs to the very decorative herbs. With its extremely fine and delicate bronze brown leaves and its vigour, it decorates every flower bed and especially suits a classic cottage garden.


In the kitchen, mainly the leaves and the stalks are used for seasoning and the seeds are used for tea.
The ingredients and taste of bronze fennel are similar to Roman fennel. It has a digestive, relaxing, appetizing, and anticonvulsant effect.
The leaves as a spice go especially well with garlic, onions, hot chili, tomatoes, and carrots. The taste perfectly suits many Italian vegetable antipasti.

Anglers use the stalks very often for aromatizing the fish when smoking them.
