The beautiful, tender blossoms of the variety 'Rose Chiffon' is reminiscent of the tulle skirts of ballet dancers. Namely, the variety has double flowers and the blossoms just look like ruffled skirts. Paired with the bright play of colours from
light yellow to light rose to nearly pink, these flowers nearly can't be surpassed in grace.

Californian Poppy indeed originates from North America. As it seeds itself easily, you can find whole blooming areas cluttered with its bright blossoms. That's a truly magical sight.

It belongs to the poppy family and also forms the tap root typical for it. For this reason, it's best to sow the plant on the spot outdoors as it doesn't like transplanting. Apart from that, Californian Poppy is very uncomplicated and carefree. It tolerates drought and is a true continuously blooming plant from June to autumn. The tender but robust plant is often used in near-natural gardens, stone gardens, prairie and steppe beds, and the cottage garden. Unfortunately, the plant doesn't suit as a cut flower as the blossoms wither fast as soon as you cut it.
