Sowing & cultivation
Chili plants can be cultivated annually outdoors or as a perennial pot plant. We recommend hibernating the plants and keeping them perennially as, especially in the second year, a lush harvest can be expected. Press seeds into the sowing compost and keep them warm (approx. 24°C). Chili seeds need warmth to germinate - here, a heated plant propagator can be helpful. Grows well indoors. Loves sunny locations and nutritious soil.
Chilis need plenty of nutrients and benefit from a strong nitrogen fertilizer.
