Sowing & cultivation
Sow from mid June to end of July directly into the vegetable patch. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil and press them gently into the ground, needs light to germinate. Later prick out and transplant, keeping a distance of 30 x 30 cm. Endive prefers good garden soil in an open, sunny location and adequate irrigation. Harvest is possible from mid-September on.
