The Hawaiian Woodrose is also called "Baby Woodrose". It's a fast-growing climber from Hawaii, which forms large, heart-shaped leaves. Due to the large leaves, which are reminiscent of elephant ears, the plant is also called elephant creeper.

The creeper, which originates from India, is interpreted as the legendary "soma" by some ethnologists. The contained active agent ergine is said to have a similar effect to LSD.

Argyreia nervosa is a tropical climber for the balcony, patio, or greenhouse. It also thrives well in the apartment. The seeds of the Hawaiian Baby Woodrose germinate faster if the hard seed coat is slightly filed. However, make sure not to completely file through them. In the following, soak them in water for approx. 24 hours and sow them approx. 1cm deep in pots and keep them warm afterwards. We recommend coconut soil for the sowing of the Baby Woodrose.
