Sowing & cultivation
Perennial ground-cover plant for the half-shade. Cold germinator: Sowing outdoors at the beginning of spring or in autumn. Alternatively, artificial stratification is possible. Mix the seeds with moist sand in a plastic bag. The bag has to be kept warm and moist (approx. +20°C) in the first 2-4 weeks and be placed into the fridge, afterwards, where it should remain at a temperature of +5°C for 5-6 weeks. Then, take out the plastic bag and watch regularly at room temperature if the seeds germinate. In the following, prick the seedlings into pots and plant them out after the last frosts in May.
