Perennial plant. Loves lots of sun and dry locations, maybe on house walls with some rain protection. The plants need a distance of approx. 30cm. Sowing: Preculture. Germinates at approx. 23°C. Gently press the seeds onto the soil and keep them moist. Germinates after 2-6 weeks. Opuntia germinates best after a longer storage period. Avoid waterlogging in the first weeks. Plant out strong plantlets.
