Sowing & cultivation
Perennial for an especially sunny place in the flower bed. We recommend direct sowing outdoors from mid-March to May. Light germination: Only scatter the fine seeds onto the soil cautiously and press them on gently. Thinly sprinkle them with a little bit of sand and keep them consistently moist. If possible, the seedlings shouldn't be transplanted as poppy forms a tap root that's most often damaged hereby. Where necessary, too close standing plantlets have to be removed.
