The red cabbage variety 'Schwarzkopf' is an allround talent for the whole year. It is suitable for early sowing as well as for the late and autumn sowing. In addition, the 'Schwarzkopf' undemanding as regards the soil and gives high yields even in
less favorable locations. This cabbage has large solid, full round, black-red and easily storable heads. It has short stalks and an excellent flavor.

Red cabbage can be used raw in salads or cooked as a vegetable. The variety 'Schwarzkopf' is also known under the variety name Cabeza Negra cabbage.
