Sowing & cultivation
- Sowing indoors in spring. Only slightly sprinkle with soil. Germination can take 4 weeks or longer. The seedlings are very small in the beginning but then grow fast. Prick them later and plant them out in summer. The plant is completely hardy. Forms offshoots and can, thereby, be bred.
- Prefers sunny to half-shady locations and requires moist but well-permeable, nutritious, and humous-rich soils.
