Perennial shrub for the apartment or winter garden. Crack seed pod and presoak the coffee seeds in warm water for several hours (no longer than 1 day). To maintain the temperature, a thermosflask is suitable. Then, press them onto seeding compost, don't cover them with soil, and bring them into muggy surroundings. Coffee seeds germinate best at 25-30 (!) °C. Ideal location: Half shade. Protect from the midday sun. Lime-deficient irrigation water is convenient.
