The Pitcher Plant is a carnivorous plant that catches its bait in its green to reddish funnels. These close then and the bait, which mainly consists of ants, is digested. When it's raining, the pitchers also close so as not to fill with water. The
variety only occurs in Madagascar and is classified as dangerous. The plant can reach up to two metres in height.
