Description

The tomato variety 'Green Zebra' is one of the classics among heirloom tomato varieties. For a long time, different old tomato varieties have been crossed to obtain this tasty green tomato variety, which convinces by its flavor and also looks very
interesting: bright green with yellow stripes when ripe.

Its taste is often described as mild, but slightly sour, yet very fresh and pleasant - a green tomato should taste exactly like that. No fear of toxic solanine in this green tomato, a ripe Green Zebra contains hardly any. All things considered, green tomatoes are in fact among the fruitiest tomatoes found in Europe. Although they are more common in the south, the climate further north is just as suitable.
