Description

A pink heirloom tomato cultivar with very large fleshy fruits (about 500g). The taste is often described as "wine aroma". The ideal tomato for sandwiches! The variety 'Brandywine' is supposed to be commercially available since 1885 already.

Package with 10 Brandywine tomato seeds

Preculture from March, germinates at 20 °C in about 10 days. In May, harden the young plants of about 15 cm height and plant them in the greenhouse or outdoors. Possibly needs tying to supports. Pinching out the side shoots is absolutely necessary - leave only few fruits per plant.
