Description

Sagittaria is originally a Central European wild plant which grows in moist locations. Today, arrowheads are mainly cultivated in China for their small tubers (approx. 3 cm) with high nutritious value. The tubers are prepared like a vegetable or
alternatively dried and ground as flour to thicken sauces or for baking.

In Canada, arrowhead tubers were called "Wapatoo" and collected by the indigenous tribes, who liked to prepare them roasted in an open fire.
Sagittaria seed packet - approx. 200 arrowheads seeds
