Pak choi or bok choy (US spelling) is a fast growing cabbage plant which is traditionally cultivated in China. It can be prepared just like chard, the crunchy stems are as delicious as its leaves, especially when harvested young.

Pak Choi is very easy to cultivate. The plants need a row spacing of approx. 40cm. Sowing: Direct sowing in June-August (do not sow too early!). Harvest from August. Likes sheltered places with loose soil, and especially benefits from protection against wind.
