Description

"Bull's Blood" is an old red beetroot variety which is believed to have originated in the Netherlands from the very old French variety "Craupadine". The entire plant, including the foliage, has an intense red colour. The young leaves can be used for
colourful salad mixes. The roots are turnip-shaped, slightly curled and very tasty.

Sowing and cultivation:

Sow outdoors from April to June. A couple of seeds should be sown together around 2.5 cm deep. Sow in rows of about 40 cm distance. Beetroot prefers sandy-loamy loose soil that should not be acidic.
