Description

Chinese broccoli is a leaf vegetable with thick, flat, leaves and thick stems with flower heads smaller than "normal" broccoli. Its flavor is stronger than broccoli and slightly more bitter. Gai lan is widely used in Chinese Vietnamese and Thai
cuisine, boiled steamed or stir-fried.

Growing instructions

The plants can be sown in April or started indoors. Indoor plants are planted out from the end of May. The distance between individual broccoli plants should be about 30 cm. Harvest the flowers before they open.
