Description

'Tromboncino d'Albenga' is a traditional Italian climbing courgette variety with long, thick-ended fruit. If the plants are grown without a trellis or climbing frame, they will grow crawling along the ground and form snake-like looped fruits.
However, the courgettes should not be allowed to grow too large - they taste best when are young.
Seed, content: 5 courgette seeds
Sowing and cultivation
Courgettes are mostly started indoors and then planted out into the vegetable patch after the last frosts. However, outdoors sowing in May is possible. Planting distance: approx 1m.
