Description

This Japanese onion variety is botanically related to the spring onion, but forms thick stems similar to leek.

Growing instructions
Sowing is possible in the open field from March onwards: Cover seeds with a layer of 1 cm of soil. When sowing in rows: keep a distance of approx. 20 cm. Loves loose garden soil.
To harvest beautiful, thick stems, the plants need to be earthed up, much like leeks.
