Description

Okra is a West African mallow plant with long ridged seed pods, which are eaten as a vegetable or used for thickening soups and stews. Okra tastes delicious boiled or stir-fried, a mild Mediterranean vegetable for pan dishes, Arabic cuisine or Thai
curries. This variety ("Clemson") is well adapted to the Central European climate.

Growing instructions
Okra is a tropical plant for greenhouse or indoor growing which needs a warm climate to germinate. Preculture in the house from March. Harden off in May and preferrably plant in a greenhouse or keep as a container plant. Sow seeds in moist and warm climate (27 °C / 80 °F) and slightly acid soil.
