Description

This staple food of the Inkas was ousted by various cereals introduced by the colonists but is experiencing a renaissance in recent years. Quinoa leaves can be eaten like spinach and the numerous yellow seeds taste best boiled. They contain an
unusually high amount of amino acids.

Growing instructions

Annual plant. Indoor preculture from January to March. Outdoor sowing in April. Sow broadcast or in rows with a distance of 30-50 cm. Quinoa Likes sunny places and is very undemanding.
