Description

Somewhat more robust than its relative the sea kale, the tartar bread or tatarican colewort plant has edible roots which can be prepared and eaten just like radish.

Growing instructions
Very hardy perennial, tolerates different conditions. Germination can be slow so it is best to sow the seed in pots. It usually takes place in 3 - 5 weeks at 15°C. Prick out the seedlings into individual pots as soon as they are large enough to handle and plant out into their permanent positions.
