Description

Turban squash belongs to the giant pumpkins (Cucurbita maxima). The fruits reach 1-1.5 kg and are highly decorative and varied in shape. The flesh is firm and sweet and has a mild taste. If that pronounced cucumber aroma of many pumpkin varieties is
too intense for you, this one will do the trick for you! The mild taste of the turban squash fits well with different foods. In addition, ripe turban pumpkins can be stored for many months.

Package with 5 turban squash seeds

Growing instructions

Preculture in April. Plant in pots and transplant outdoors after a hardening phase after the blackthorn winter in May. When planting, be very careful not to damage the sensitive root ball. In late May, the pumpkins can also be sown directly outdoors. Space the plants about 100 cm apart from each other.
Loves a permeable, nutrient-rich soil, warmth and plenty of water.
