Description
Fragrant elegance for romantic gardens
The sweet pea 'Mollie Rilstone' (Lathyrus odoratus) is considered one of the most elegant varieties among historic sweet peas. Its large, gently waved flowers display a soft ivory white with a delicate pink blush along the petal edges - a painterly colour gradient that perfectly suits romantic gardens, cottage-style arrangements and wedding floristry.
Like all Grandiflora sweet peas, it has an intensely sweet fragrance that makes this variety a delight for the senses. The long, sturdy stems are ideal for cutting, and regular harvesting helps to extend the flowering period. With climbing support, the plant reaches a height of up to 150?cm.
'Mollie Rilstone' thrives best in sunny to partially shaded positions with humus-rich, free-draining soil. The non-edible pods contain seeds for propagation in the following year.
