About us

We would like to give you an insight into who we are and tell you what lies behind the name Magic Garden Seeds.

You will be surprised, because we are not a romantic remote farm in the Bavarian Forest where all kinds of special plants are grown so that we can later harvest our own seeds.

Some of our staff would probably dream of that, but the reality looks quite different, and it is exciting and modern.

Our most important company treasures, briefly explained

Over 25 years of experience

For more than a quarter of a century we have devoted ourselves to our passion for seeds and plants. Our long experience is your guarantee of high-quality products and sound expert knowledge. We love traditions and old lore, but our eyes are always on the future.

Regional, from Regensburg

At our site in Regensburg you will find all the creative minds who develop and make our products. From selecting the seed to careful packaging, everything happens in our own house. Producing regionally keeps quality high and delivery routes short.

Sustainability

We rely on sustainable packaging made from recycled materials that can be used again. Our aim is to be as plastic-free as possible in order to keep our ecological footprint small. By promoting open-pollinated seed we help to preserve the diversity of species.

Transparent supply chains

As logistics professionals we are proud of our sustainable and transparent supply chains. We ship orders within the EU as well as to Norway and Switzerland, so our products reach you quickly and reliably.

A wide choice of seeds

Our range covers more than 1,300 different seed varieties from every corner of the plant world, from rare treasures to proven classics. The old vegetable varieties, the magical plants and the flowers are especially close to our hearts.

Open-pollinated seed

Our seeds are exclusively open-pollinated and free from chemical treatment. You will find no hybrids, no patented and no genetically modified seed with us. Instead you get natural, robust seed that delivers good results year after year and adds to the diversity of species.

Certified organic

Magic Garden Seeds is certified organic, and wherever possible we source our seed from organic farming. Although this area keeps growing, not every seed can be obtained that way yet. That is why we also continue to carry seed from conventional farming, so that we can offer you a broad choice.
