Sowing and care
- Sowing indoors in pots from mid-March or directly outdoors from mid-May. Basil is a light germinator. Therefore, only scatter the seeds onto the moist soil and press them onto it lightly.
- It's very frost-sensitive and, therefore, only annual in our climate zones.
- This variety reaches approx. 20-30cm in height.
- Basil prefers warm, humus-rich, loose, sandy soils and sunny locations. It doesn't like windy locations.
- Family: Lamiaceae (mint family)
