Description

The "Black Pear" is an old East European tomato variety. The slightly smaller fruits are pear-shaped and not completely black but rather dark brown. Their skin is rather firm and their pulp is velvety soft. It convinces through an immense sweetness and fruitiness. Seems to be very resistant to the blight.

Sowing and care

Preculture indoors at approx. +22-28°C from March. In May, temper the plantlets and plant them into the greenhouse, tomato house or outdoors (with rain protection). Tie up on struts or ribbons and pinch out regularly.
