Sowing and care
Sowing this mix is straightforward, even for beginners, and ensures success:
- Sowing time: Direct sowing from April to June, once there is no longer a risk of heavy frost. Pre-sowing is possible from March.
- Location: Sunny to partially shaded. The plants thrive in well-drained, low-nutrient soils.
- Sowing: Scatter seeds directly onto the prepared bed, press them lightly, and cover with a thin layer of soil. The spacing between plants should be approximately 20–30 cm.
- Care: Water regularly but avoid waterlogging. A single application of fertiliser in spring is sufficient.
- Flowering period: Depending on sowing time, from June until late autumn – a true highlight for the entire gardening season.
