Description
Especially near the roots, the characteristic flavour unfolds in the leaves. The grass, which is also called vanilla grass, is used for the preparation of drinks or sweet dishes as well as as a tobacco substitute.
It spreads via underground offshoots and should either get sufficient space in the garden for spreading or be contained by the help of a root barrier.
