Beautiful, small, very symmetrical barrel cactus with short, white thorns that forms pink and white blossoms and bears longish, red fruits. It originates from Central America and is to be found wild-growing in the South of the US and northern Mexico on calcareous soils. It tolerates sub-zero temperatures but no humidity.

Epithelantha Micromeris is used by shamans of the Tarahumara people. The fruits of the Hikuri Mulato are said to help athletes there as a doping substance.

Germination temperature:	25-30°C

The seeds are scattered on moist cactus soil and pressed onto it slightly. Cover it with glass (mini-greenhouse) so that moisture remains. After approx. 2 weeks, germination begins. Germination: at 25-28°C. To prevent a fungal attack, you can add horsetail extract to the irrigation water (0.4%).

Anja Walessa sagt:Ja, die Zuckerrfcbe wir im Herbst geerntet . Ich denke, dass sie dann eine ldnnehoe Grf6dfe erreicht hat. Wenn sie jetzt schon schmeckt, dann ist ja alles gut. Man muss einfach ausprobieren, wie wann was geht, nur so wird man schlauer.Ich habe fcbrigens nochmal meine Mairfcbchen geerntet und die waren diesmal total lecker. Keine Ahnung, warum die im letzten Monat nicht schmeckten, vielleicht lag es an der Zubereitung.
