Classic Salsa chili variety from Peru with clear, medium hotness. The fruits are mainly harvested green and freshly processed into sauces.
Tomatillo 'Rendidora' (Physalis ixocarpa)
Tomatillos, like tomatoes, come from the nightshade family. The fruits sit in lampion-like wrappings. They are mainly used in Mexican cuisine for salsas and develop their full aroma when cooked.
Cilantro, Leaf coriander, Chinese parsley (Coriandrum sativum)
Cilantro is also nicknamed ‘the parsley’ of Mexican and Asian cooking. Always add the freshly chopped leaves just before serving the food.
