For this seed kit we specially selected 5 varieties, which not only tastes delicious but also are very decorative, including:

• the creamy and nut-flavoured Butternut squash 'Ponca' (Cucurbita moschata)
  Open-pollinated heirloom butternut squash variety with firm orange flesh and the typically mild nutty flavor.
• the lovely Hokkaido squash 'Red Kuri' organic (Cucurbita maxima)
  'Red Kuri' is one of the most suitable pumpkin/ squash varieties to prepare a delicious pumpkin soup. Despite their firm skin, these pumpkins need not be peeled and have a lovely nutty aroma.
• the blue-skinned, Italian winter squash 'Marina di Chioggia' (Cucurbita maxima)
  Italian pumpkin variety with bluish, wrinkly skin and golden yellow, aromatic flesh.
• the attractive looking 'Buttercup / Turk's Turban/ French Turban'- pumpkin/squash (Cucurbita maxima)
  Pumpkin variety with irregularly shaped, decorative fruits and sweet-mild taste.
• and the aromatic 'Muscade de Provence/ Moscata di Provenza'-pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata)
  The French breeding is probably one of the most decorative and delicate Muscat pumpkin varieties. With its particularly sweet and fine aroma, the pumpkin is excellent for desserts, jams and desserts.

All seeds in this kit derive from traditional, heirloom vegetable varieties and have been produced exclusively from open-pollination. Therefore all plants will reproduce true-to-seed.
