Description
The Chinese leaf mustard 'Red Giant' is a rewarding plant for the vegetable patch. After a few weeks the spicy tasting leaves, called mustard greens, can be harvested and eaten fresh or cooked in the wok. For a longer harvesting period, new flowers should be removed right from the start.

Leaf mustard loves nutritious soils. Outdoor planting from March to may best in rows. The seeds germinate after about 1 week.
