Calea zacatechichi (calea ternifolia) is a shrub occurring in the whole of Central America, especially in the altitudes of Mexico. From the indigenous tribes, a ritual tea is prepared from the leaves, which are slightly reminiscent of stinging nettle. Afterwards, they lay down and it's said that in the following dreams, you'll receive hints for the healing of your current sufferings. Furthermore, the plant is said to help with bringing about lucid dreams. These are dreams, in which the dreamer is aware of the fact that he's dreaming.
