'NuMex Suave' is certainly one of the most flavourful and balanced mild Capsicum chinense varieties. Like many NuMex varieties, it originated from New Mexico State University. We were totally impressed by these chillies. The variety is not completely without heat, perhaps comparable to a slightly milder jalapeño. It is thick-walled, juicy, with a full-bodied fruity flavour, and has floral notes that are not too overpowering.
