The "Black Pear" is an old East European tomato variety. The slightly smaller fruits are pear-shaped and not completely black but rather dark brown. Their skin is rather firm and their pulp is velvety soft. It convinces through an immense sweetness
and fruitiness. Seems to be very resistant to the blight.
