The Tomato "Ananas Noire" originates from Belgium and is a selection of the famous pineapple tomato. Its flat-round fruits reach up to 12cm in size and 200g in weight. The skin is thin with a mat surface. Sliced, the beautiful, golden, red-green-brown-marbled fruit pulp with only a few pips appears. The taste is described as exceedingly aromatic, sweet, and fruity. The taste is best shortly before full maturity. Ananas Noir is kept as a stake tomato and can grow up to 2m high. It needs much warmth and is very fertile under good conditions.
