Tea plays a very important role in many countries, both as a sacrament and as a profane stimulant and luxury food. Its history is inextricably linked to many ancient cultures of Asia. As an important caffeine-containing plant (as are coffee, mate, or guarana), the tea plant is also of great economic importance. From the leaves of the genuine tea shrub, both green and black tea are produced. In Central Europe, it can only be kept indoors during the year and is of limited use as a crop, but it can also be regarded as a purely ornamental houseplant. There are some reports of successful experiments in self-supporting tea cultivation in a heated greenhouse or in winter gardens with ventilation and other plants that protect the tea shrub from high temperatures and direct sunlight. Seeds, content: Approx. 5 Camelia Sinensis tea seeds
